Ethica VoicePilot™ is an AI-powered assistant designed to help REALTORS® fill out select C.A.R. real estate forms more efficiently using voice or text. It does not replace agent judgment, broker supervision, or C.A.R. forms.
Ethica AI is the company. VoicePilot™ is the AI assistant product developed by Ethica and offered to C.A.R. members as a member benefit.
Yes. VoicePilot™ is a free C.A.R. member benefit available to all active C.A.R. members.
Ethica AI was co-founded by Judd D. Hoffman (Co-Founder & CEO) and Ajay Shah (Co-Founder & President).
VoicePilot™ launched in early June 2026 and is being rolled out in phases by county across California. Availability may vary by county and user eligibility.
VoicePilot™ will be activated in phases by county. Not all counties will have access on day one. Availability will expand over time as the rollout progresses.
You will receive a text message when VoicePilot™ becomes available in your county.
VoicePilot™ is currently designed for California REALTORS® using C.A.R. forms. There is no announced timeline for availability outside California.

No. VoicePilot™ is mobile-first and accessible through your phone, with no app download required.
Simply speak or type the information for your form. VoicePilot™ captures the details and fills in the corresponding fields. You review and confirm everything before it's finalized.
Yes. You can use voice, text, or both at any time.
VoicePilot™ presents the completed fields for your review. Nothing is finalized until you confirm the entries are correct. You remain fully in control throughout the process.
Yes. You can review, edit, and correct any field before confirming. VoicePilot™ never finalizes anything without your approval.
VoicePilot™ supports the California Residential Purchase Agreement (RPA) and selected related forms, including BRBC and listing agreements. Coverage will continue to expand as additional C.A.R. forms are added.
Yes. Additional C.A.R. forms are planned over time. Availability will depend on product readiness, form priority, and rollout sequencing.
Document and photo uploads are planned, but are not currently available.
Template support and TC workflow support are planned, but are not fully available yet.
VoicePilot currently operates as a standalone product. Additional integrations may be evaluated over time.
No. VoicePilot™ only interacts with the agent. It does not communicate with clients, provide advice to consumers, or act independently. All decisions and communications with clients remain the agent's responsibility.
No. VoicePilot™ does not send documents to clients, initiate e-signatures, or finalize any transaction.
No. Broker oversight remains the same as it is today. VoicePilot™ does not reduce or bypass broker supervision obligations.
Current broker visibility is limited. Expanded broker-level visibility and review workflows are expected to be supported in a future broker product. In the meantime, brokers may request relevant records through Ethica's broker liaison process, and Ethica reviews requests case by case based on authorization, privacy, security, compliance, and request scope.
VoicePilot™ accounts are intended for individual authorized users and should not be shared. Access may be linked to a user's mobile device and account identity, so credential sharing is not supported and may interfere with security, auditability, permissions, and compliance.
VoicePilot™ is designed with safeguards aligned with current and emerging California AI requirements, including transparency, human oversight, privacy, security, and auditability.
VoicePilot™ is not designed to make eligibility, approval, ranking, pricing, screening, or access decisions. Users remain responsible for ensuring their communications and transaction workflows comply with fair housing laws, brokerage policies, and professional obligations.
VoicePilot™ does not determine access to housing, but accessibility considerations may apply to the product experience itself. Ethica is evaluating accessibility requirements for the interface, voice features, transcripts, forms, and outputs as part of its compliance process.
VoicePilot™ assists with drafting and form completion, but users remain responsible for reviewing, correcting, approving, and determining whether all information and documents are accurate and ready for use or signature.
VoicePilot™ is designed to simplify repetitive form-filling tasks and reduce common clerical issues by helping users identify missed fields, typos, and inconsistencies while maintaining records that support review and auditability.
No. VoicePilot™ provides drafting and form-completion assistance only. It does not provide legal advice, brokerage advice, compliance determinations, or professional advice, and users remain responsible for reviewing and approving all information and documents.
Yes. Member and transaction data is protected with safeguards such as encryption in transit and at rest. Ethica does not sell member data or use user prompts, recordings, transcripts, transaction data, or outputs to train unrelated or external AI models.

Retention practices are governed by Ethica's data retention policies and may vary by record type, legal requirement, operational need, and customer relationship. Deletion requests may be limited where retention is required for legal, compliance, audit, security, dispute-resolution, operational, backup, or business-record purposes.
VoicePilot™ is designed to protect user and transaction information, but agents should use the same care they would with any confidential transaction matter and avoid dictating sensitive information where others may overhear.
For VoicePilot™, MLS/listing data is used only as needed to verify or populate property-related transaction details and is not offered as a searchable MLS interface. VoicePilot™ does not store listing data except as reflected in the forms, drafts, logs, or records created through the service.
VoicePilot™ is intended to reduce manual drafting effort by letting agents provide information by voice or text and review completed form entries before use. VoicePilot™ provides a convenient way to fill out certain forms while keeping REALTORS® central to the transaction.
